ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY
HISTORY
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is an international society founded in 1833 by Blessed Frederic Ozanam and 5 friends. They were students at the Sorbonne, Paris, France. The Society spread rapidly, reaching the US in 1845. Holy Angels Conference is the oldest SVDP conference in San Mateo County, serving the community since 1931.
MISSION STATEMENT
In the spirit of Love and Justice, the St. Vincent de Paul Society provides person to person services of time, talent and resources to help our neighbors in need.
WHO WE SERVE
During our 2008-2009 service year we served 386 individuals, including 203 adults and 183 children. We provided 2200 plus volunteer hours of spiritual and material support and grew in our relationship with God. Our income was $21,990.00 and our expenses were $26,273.00. Operational expenses were 1.1% of our income.
